A little Bio

Hello, my name is Kristen Nivala and I am the sole creator/designer/maker of Fade Into The Abstract. I am a self-taught jeweler, and began my business back in 2010. My jewelry line draws inspiration mostly from nature with an emphasis on the textures and movements of water. Space, celestial shapes and entities intrigue me…I love designs that dapple in otherworldly, cosmic landscapes.

I love to bring natural gemstones that have been ethically and sustainably sourced; creating in small and thoughtful batches that feel special and one of a kind.

I am a PNW native and have bounced around the country but I am happy to be living back where I was born in Tacoma, Washington with my two kiddos and husband.
